Soil Observations and Comparisons
Directions:
- Empty your soil sample on newspaper on your desk.
- Complete the observation table below for SAMPLE A: MINE. As you
are doing this, sort out the rocks, living items, and debris in your soil.
- Physically switch seats with your partner. Complete the
observation table for SAMPLE B. You
will need to ask where they got theirs, but DO NOT copy their column. Your
perceptions might be different.
- Answer the analysis questions found below the table.
